This philosophy has led us to create a structure that today is composed of two divisions: Labels and Systems (Labeling Equipment, Coding Systems, and Variable Data), which allows us to offer a comprehensive solution for the identification and decoration of our customers’ products.

German Cid Subirats founded Germark, S.A. in the center of Barcelona.

22/09/1960

Installation of the first 3-color adhesive label printing machine.

22/06/1970

Design and construction of the first Label Dispenser Equipment with proprietary technology.

22/03/1972

Opening of commercial delegations and technical service in Madrid and Valencia.

22/02/1976

Installation of the first 5-color rotary press.

22/05/1977

Move to the 10,000 m² facilities in Cornellà de Llobregat.

22/07/1978

Opening of commercial delegations in Bilbao, La Coruña, and Seville.

22/09/1990

The Coding division is created.

22/04/1994

The internationalization process of the company begins with its first sales outside Spain.

11/07/2000

Installation of the first Digital Label Printer in Spain.

22/07/2001

Certification of our environmental management system through ISO 14000.

Expansion of facilities with a 1,400 m² warehouse.

22/07/2006

Expansion of the Coding facilities, increasing from 150 m² to 550 m².

Acquisition of the first Adhesive Cohesion Equipment in Spain.

Launch of promotional solutions.

Installation of the first HP WS6800 Digital Label Printer in the world.
